Parent subscriptions serve as financing, but they aren’t high (from 20 Euro per month).


How can I promote interest in life schools with parents, teachers and pupils?

In that you take the first step and inform them. There are lots of people who are just waiting for something like this to be offered, even if they are not consciously aware of this at the moment. 

How does co-operation with parents, teachers and children actually work?

Again that depends on each individual, who wants to found a life school. The most important thing is, that everyone is sufficiently informed. The parents and teachers who are really interested in the concept, will also work together to do something about it.

 What pupils want

A survey taken from over 500 pupils between the ages of 13 and 18 brought interesting results. Here are a few statements from pupils of grammar schools, trade schools and secondary schools in Dessau (Sachsen Anhalt), about what pupils are looking for, what is missing at school: to dissolve the “negative picture of self” was the most important point, followed by “converting weaknesses to strengths,” “to find and live their vision,” “recognising their inner limitations and dissolving them or letting go of them, “ and: “to have a school that really prepares them for real life – a working team, where they can learn to confront problems and solve them together,” “future design as a subject,” frequent meditation, in order to improve the school day,” and “one should prepare the pupils for real life (e.g. Not dealing with useless topics in lessons).”

Other main themes named were: planning for the future, solving conflict, getting to know people, management, relieving stress, subjects that interest us or hobby-connected, to promote talent more and better preparation for later in life. Also the wish for life-competent trainers was clearly defined, for teachers who know what they are talking about, because they are living it themselves.

The goals of life schools

The task of life schools is to show those who are ready to “wake up,” who really want to live authentically, the most important steps: Firstly, how do I reverse the things I learned falsely, how do I let go?  The second most important step, the big goal in life, is: How can I live in harmony? How can I live as the one I really am, real, honest and authentically convert my potential into reality. True education will try to bring the hidden into the light, that, inner treasure that life placed inside of us. That is my vision.
